Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1979 with honours at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", specialised in Plastic Surgery and Dermatology with honours. Since 1982, works at the Chair of Dermatology of the same University as First Level Doctor and as researcher at the Chair of Plastic Surgery since 1990.

Has practised Hair Restoration Surgery since 1980 adopting the most advanced techniques, from extenders to mini- and micro-grafts, according to individual needs.

Since 1999, Professor of Hair Restoration Surgery at the School of Specialisation in Plastic Surgery of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Since 1995, Professor of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the International School of Aesthetic Medicine of the International Foundation "Fatebenefratelli".

Member of The Italian Society of Plastic Surgery, Member of the European Society of Plastic Surgery. Tutor of the Course on "Micro-graft hair transplantation" held within the 9^th Congress of the European Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Author of 53 scientific publications in Italian and international journals and has participated in the production of scientific-didactic videos on eyelid surgery and hair restoration surgery.
